Shetland Adventure - Hostel

Explore the iconic Island of Shetland, with a number of blockbuster trips - amazing caves, tall arches, super long tunnels and geo's. Big ocean swell, committing coastline, puffins, gannets, otters and If your lucky catch a glimpse of one of Shetlands stunning visitors, the Orca!
Its essential that you're able to paddle in f4/5 winds as a minimum, happy in the associated swell, as a minimum. To be able to paddle 25km is also required.
This means you will enjoy this adventure more. The ocean swell can be significant at time so its essential that you are comfortable in these's conditions.
Course fee is for our guiding ratio and sole use of self catering accommodation. Fee does not include food or transport to or from Shetland. Rogers been exploring Shetland since 2016!
£1200 incl of accommodation.

Our InterMediate sea kayaking course on the beautiful Anglesey coast provides the essential skills for understanding tidal planning, paddling in ocean swell, and blending strokes in progressive, dynamic water.
We’ll use venues around the Anglesey coast so you can progressively experience dynamic water at a pace and level to suit you and the group best.

Great day with Sally working on boat handling, reading the water and its ok to feel uncomfortable.
Cemaes to Bull Bay was perfect, with wind with tide and then wind against by the afternoon so we got a few waves and a nice push along the coast.

Surf & tide race course, with a good blend of dynamic water over the three days. With Rhoscolyn and the Beacon, Cemaes to Bull Bay via Middle Mouse and the Swellies. We had some super rock features on the north coast on Friday and just the right amount of swell. My highlight was this interesting water spout - it was so much fun!
It was a pleasure paddling with you all and thanks to Craig Young for his support.
